I design and deliver creative music workshops for young people that use singing and songwriting to develop confidence, creativity and self-expression. Drawing on over 16 years of music teaching experience, alongside a BA in Performing Arts, a PGCE in Secondary Music Education and an MA in Creative Writing, my workshops encourage participants to explore performing, composing and reflective listening through inclusive, collaborative activities. Sessions can also incorporate cross-curricular themes such as history, literature and cultural heritage, making them suitable for a wide range of educational, cultural and community settings. The workshops are designed to increase participation in music, foster creative confidence and provide accessible opportunities for young people to engage with arts and culture.
